A Strange Occurrence (Private: Melody , Phantom)

After a busy day making fresh new weapons for the tribe, he was returning with Mel on his back to their den. Entering the cave he walked over to their bed, after all he has been on his feet all day. Sighing he laid down on the bed of snow, giving Mel a nuzzle he spoke "Ahhh... its good to be off my feet" It had started darker outside, knowing that the comfort was short lived he lifted himself back up, dropping Mel off allowing her to relax as his stomach rumbled. "Alright I will go get us something to eat" knowing that Mel eats ores and gemstones he knew just what to give her. Leaving the den he headed towards the food store, as he grabbed a deer for him he headed back to his workshop. Since Blizzard was dealing weapons, ores and gemstones where important, so he had a special supply, thanks to the trackers that find them on their travels he managed to save a diamond and a sapphire. Placing them in his paw hiding them from site he returned back to the den with a fresh caught deer in his jaws.

Dropping the deer close by he noticed Mel was laying down smiling at him, "Hey, I have something special for you!" he responded while revealing the gemstones in his paw. "I hope you like them" he smiled, the stones where quite large in size around 1.5ft in diameter each.

// wow the stones seem very large, but if your gona eat them they can't be too small , Also Phan you will need to turn up at some point lol XD //

Melody yawned and awaited Blizzard's return. A few moments after he had left to gather dinner for the couple, he had returned with a deer and a few large gems. "Blizzard, these are my favourite. Thank you." the dragoness said quietly and picked up a sapphire, holding it in between her paws and chewing on it. She broke off a piece and shifted. "So, Blizzard, I've been thinking. What if we lived with a few hatchlings?" Melody asked. She had no idea whatsoever how to phrase it.

Blizzard looked at Mel with a curious look, "Hatchlings?... you mean you want to have kids?" smirking as he sliced a portion of meat and gulped it down. He began to wonder how it would be possible though, frowning and sighing "I won't be able to though... with you" gesturing towards his size. he smiled slightly as he laid close by.

Melody raised an eyeridge. "Normal dragons have amazing powers, why can't someone shrink you?" She asked and whimpered, setting down the gem she was snacking on and scooting over to blizzard. "So it's not a good idea, I guess then.." she whispered and nuzzled him.

Bliz letting out a soft laugh, as he closed in to whisper close to her ear "I would give up my size for you..." smirking giving her a little lick on her cheek. "But...who could use such magic" he sighed nuzzling Mel with his paw.

Melody giggled as he licked her face. "Well, we do have a dragon goddess of magic, right? Maybe she could help. I mean.. if she's not busy. Or something. I don't know. Or some sort of goddess. But the magic one might do the best. Who else? Um.. and thank you." the usually quiet dragoness rambled on, licking Blizzard's cheek as she sat down next to one of his front paws.

Blizzard laughed playfully grabbing Mel hugging her closely to his chest, "Wouldn't it be great if you could shrink me" he smirked nipping at her ear. His tail curled around them. Suddenly a flash of light appeared in front of them, catching his gaze he gasped placing Mel on his forehead and pulling himself on his legs gaining a defensive stance.

A few moments later he spotted a strange dragon who had a strange haze around her scales, Blizzard spoke up "Who are you?" Shocked from the random appearance, the dragon must have strong powers or even some divine qualities.

Melody closed her eyes and pressed against Blizzard as a bright light flashed across the cave. She opened her eyes to find a dragoness standing before the two. "Wh-who is that?" She asked and curled up next to Blizzard, rather terrified.

//Phantom//

After appearing before the unusual couple, she smiled and replied "The names Phantom, goddess of magic & war. I have been watching you two for sometime." As she crept a little closer, noticing the little dragon on his forehead behind his horns. Smiling again she continued "Don't be afraid, I want to give you two a present" gesturing towards Mel to come forward.

//Blizzard//
He lowered his stance after hearing that she was a threat, he was right they where greeted with a goddess, why was she interested in them he thought. Turning towards Mel he smiled, interested what gift was she going to receive.

Melody slid down Blizzard's neck, hopped down from his back and walked towards Phantom. "Um.. um.. Hi.. miss.. I mean.. your majesty? Your godlyness.. um.. Blizzarrrd! What do I do?" She whispered in an extremely frantic tone. There was a gigantic dragoness standing before her, who had claimed herself to be the Goddess of War and Magic. And had just appeared in their den. This was absolutely terrifying to the young crystal dragoness. Melody crouched into what appeared to be a hesitated bow, looking back at Blizzard. Melody had terrible social skills, and now was being given her first gift. Well, from a dragon that is. Her animal friends gave her presents all the time during the first 18 years of her life. With that thought, she looked over at Patches, who was currently hopping around in his large cage that she had put together when she moved into Blizzard's den.

Blizzard smiled feeling quite nervous he walked up next to Mel giving her a nuzzle, "Its alright Mel.. err so what's the present?" awaiting for her response he turned towards the goddess.

nodding towards Blizzard she smiled, "Well I over heard you two talking about having kids, Blizzard I want you and Mel to be together.." continuing "So I'm going to give Mel powers to shrink you." smirking towards him she began to sparkle and with a quick nod of her head, the sparkle like fireflies dashed towards Mel, "There it is done, Simply think about Blizzard shrinking"

Melody wrinkled her muzzle and shook herself as the sparks shot over to her. "Th-think about it? Um.. okay..." She whispered and closed her eyes. Shrink.. Blizzard. Blizzard needs to be smaller. Close to my size. She thought and opened her eyes.

Blizzard carefully watched, shocked that Mel would be able to shrink him. Nervous from the up coming changes but still excited, he spoke "Alright, I'm ready Mel" within a few moments he felt a strange tingle in his paws, then rushing up his legs. Glancing down to inspect his saw the same sparkles which Mel was given hovering around his scales. A few seconds past they where now surrounding his whole body, he could feel the changes shrinking slowly it wasn't long before he stood 10ft above the ground. At first shock ran through his system, it was totally different from his original height of 70ft. Speaking with his now more gentler voice "Errr... this is weird, Do I look alright mel?" he asked smiling towards her

Happy with the results she teleported away from the couple, leaving the two with her gift.

Melody nodded and smiled. "Handsome as ever." She said in her quiet, gentle voice and took a seat beside Blizzard. "Now, about my question, what do you think?" She whispered and tilted her head.

Smirking he nipped at her ear, "Thanks... I'm not as beautiful as you though." he continued whispering "What do you think..." he smirked again giving a lick on her cheek, being so small was certainly a strange sensation, his tongue wasn't bigger than her cheek now. Tackle hugging with his new size, he started to like the change constantly smiling towards her.

Melody was tackled and hugged. She licked Blizzard's cheek and nuzzled him. "So that's a yes?"

It was many months after Mel received her new power, they both found out that Mel now controlled his size, whether he was in his small form or his original size. Returning to the den after the days work, he wanted to check on how Mel was doing. Entering the den he spoke with a happy tone "Hey Mel!"

Melody looked up, her tail wrapped around shining ice-looking eggs. "How was work, Blizzard?" She asked quietly and tilted her head to the side. She spread a wing over the eggs to ensure their warmth. "Design any new rooms or forge anything new?"

Bliz Smiled laying next to her and the eggs, nuzzling her on the snout, "Fine, the usual mainly been working on maintenance" then continued "How are you anyway" he smiled extending his own wing over her and the eggs. Curling his tail circling them, smirking he hugged her tightly.

Melody smiled and nuzzled him. "I'm good. Rather concered for Patches, though. He's been trapped in that cage ever since these happened." She explained and motioned toward the eggs with her head, giving a glance at Patches for added visual.

Blizzard looked at Mel with a confused look "Alright .. so when do you think they will hatch?" he asked placing his snout on the icy floor. As he was curled up with Mel and the eggs on the inside, providing warmth and comforting her. giving off a deep purr and closing his eyes feeling relaxed. As air blasted though his nose a light blue sparkle came from his icy scales as he breathed.

Melody shrugged. "I've no idea. We would have to ask the healer. She's just done a usual wellness checkup for me, I think. But maybe very, very soon." She explained and laid her head on Blizzard's paws, looking up at him. She spread out her wing that was on the side Blizzard was laying, wrapping it around him. "What do you think?"

Blizzard nuzzled her again, feeling relaxed he tightened the hug enjoying the warmth as he watched the eggs next to them. He was excited, "Hey I can't wait.... I bet their cute" he smiled nudging Mel slightly.As he moved his tail he tapped each one gently, there was three in total. "Have any ideas which are males and females? Also any names?" he asked with a smirk, licking her cheek again.

Melody shrugged. "I love the name Lilac." She stated and looked down at the eggs. "But I have never really thought of any other name."

Smiling he replied "yeah that sounds fine, I suppose it would be easier to name them when they hatch." As he licked her cheek he thought he saw one of the eggs move. Proceeding to check he glanced around them. Spotting one of the ice blue eggs had a small crack on the side. "They maybe hatching Mel!" He expressed.
