Not just dragons

So I was thinking why not add some diversity and allow for creatures other than dragons to be created. It would appeal to more audiences and spice up the rp a bit. This is still a dragon site however and each person will only be allowed one non dragon character so we keep the dragon population in the majority. On top of this in terms of power all non dragons are going to have to be significantly weaker in power. Meaning myself and the other staff would be much harder when it comes to abilities in non dragon characters. Now if people do like this idea I'll add it to the advertisement contest rewards. Each person who helped contribute in the advertisement contest will be allowed 2 non dragon characters.

I don't really think we should have other characters. It's Dragons Roleplaying Forum after all. I like the system we use at the moment and I am assuming a few others will agree with me. We can have unique dragons, but do we really need other character types? There are many different personalities and powers, appearances, etc that you can have with a dragon. If we brought other species into this, we would have trouble finding roleplay parteners if they prefer their other characters. And the tribes? How would that work?
