Relaxing on the beach (Private with Aquamarine)

Hyruu lied down on the beach, letting out a purr of contentment. At that time of the day, the sand was deliciously warm, heated by the sun since hours. Definitively this beach was a great place to relax a bit after hunting.
The grey dragon had settle down at the south of the LightWings territory, near the Mystic Sea. Although not that big, the territory had everything he needed : a nice comfy cave, a piece of forest for hunting and a few enjoyable spots to laze under the sun. For the moment, he was fairly happy with what he had. He finally had reached his native tribe - since for an unknown reason he wasn't born in the territory of the LightWings but really far from there -, he had socialized a bit with the other tribe members, and the sun was deliciously heating his scales. How could he not be happy of his situation ? The grey dragon put his head on his paws and closed his eyes, simply enjoying this calm and sunny day.

Hyruu soon finished his meal, noticing the dragoness had gone silent. It wasn't really like her to stay that silent. The grey dragon had the feeling that he somehow hit a sensitive spot. Was she actually mad at him or just awkward ? That was hard to guess.
"Oh, now that I think about it I still haven't showed you the inside of my cave. We only see a small part from here." he told Aquamarine, heading toward his cave. "I guess you still want to see it ?"
The grey dragon took the small turn that was hiding the main room of the cave, and Aquamarine would see something she wasn't expecting. In fact, there was soft grass growing inside the main room, slightly lightened by a hole on the ceiling. One could see a rock from the opening, which was just big enough to cover the hole if it was moved over it. The room itself was big enough for the two of them, still offering plenty of place.
"I was a bit skeptic about the grass at first, but it's really awesome actually." Hyruu commented.

Aquamarine nodded and followed, her head tilted as she took in the stoney detailsof the cave. And suddenly, there was vegetation. "Thiyas i' nace." She said simply, standing close to Hyruu despite the recent conversation.

Hyruu gave Aquamarine a look as she stood close to him. It sounded like her old habit of always sticking to him was coming back. Well at least that was a sign everything was alright.
"So, what are you up to now that we ate ?" he questioned, looking at her.

Aquamarine looked back at Hyruu, standing so close that their muzzles nearly touched. "Ah dunno. Maybe go ou' fer a fly an' such. Or reast. I's gettin' dark ou'side." She said and tilted her head, flicking her tail for both actions.

Hyruu slightly backed his head as Aquamarine's nuzzle almost touched his own. Yes there was no doubt she was back to her usual self.
"Oh already..." he sighed. "I haven't seen the day go by. But tell me don't you have anybody waiting for you where you live ?" he asked.

Aquamarine shook her head at the question. "Nah. Ah can disappearfro' mah territoreh fer days a' a tam and no 'un would notace. Whah? Can Ah stay here fer the naght?" She responded, hoping this was his intention. Inside, her heart soared at the thought, though on the outside, she remained chilled and casual.

Hyruu raised an eyebrow at Aquamarine's proposition. So she didn't have anyone waiting for her in her territory either... Even though it probably was for different reasons than his own. No wonder she seemed so happy every time she was coming to his territory.
"Erm, that's not really what I had in mind, but I guess I don't have anything against it..." the grey dragon replied.
Hyruu was now slightly nervous. The dragoness couldn't have asked to sleep with him without having something in her mind. He had the feeling all this would end awkwardly, once again...

Aquamarine tilted her head. He agreed. Sweet. "Alraght, sounds good. Sa, um.. thiyes.. where da ah sleep?" She asks, the question rather awkward. She had hoped that he would give the answer she was hoping to receive: Near me. She didn't live with anyone, really, so living with someone - and flirting with someone "cute"- made her happy. But, she'd do it regardless.

Hyruu gave his cave a quick look before his reply. Definitively even though his cave was big enough for them two it still was too small to have them both sleep in intimacy...
"Well I guess there's not a lot of choices. We'll have to sleep next to each other of we want to have some space. Does that bother you ?" he asked back.

Aquamarine brightened up even more at this. "Sure, darlin'. Jus' fahn wi'h me." She said with a casual grin and tilted her head, partially wrapping her tail around his.

Hyruu slightly blushed (this time not his whole body) as he felt Aquamarine wrapping her tail around his. Definitively she didn't seem to mind at all... The grey dragon made a step on the side and lied on the ground, removing his tail from hers as the movement led him a bit farther from the dragoness. He didn't want to look like he was avoiding the contact, but this one was particularly awkward for him...
"Well just get yourself comfortable then." he told Aquamarine, trying to hide his awkwardness.

Aquamarine raised an eyeridge at this movement, when she walked over beside him and laid down. Directly beside him. Without any issue. "Naght, darlin'. Ah'll see ya in the mornin'.." She muttered and closed her eyes, her head rested on her paws as she was still extremely close to Hyruu. Her breath began to slow, becoming deeper and rest repetitive. She was asleep.

Hyruu's blushed slightly harder when Aquamarine laid down right beside him. He only managed to mutter a "'night" as the dragoness closed her eyes and began to fall asleep. At that moment, he stopped resisting and entirely turned in a bright red. Thank Shardas, he had managed not to change color while the dragoness still was awoken. That last action of hers just was too much for him. He who always lived alone, or never really talked to a dragoness until recently, now had one dragoness sleeping right next to him. The young dragon could feel her flank against his, and even feel her breathing as she slept. Hyruu was just frozen, unable to decide what he should do. Should he try to move to feel less awkward, or should he just give up ? He was so unsure about what decision to take that he finally didn't move an inch, his head still raised as he hadn't laid it down yet.
The grey dragon gave Aquamarine a look. She looked so calm when she was sleeping. Actually, she was quite a beautiful dragoness. Hyruu's eyes widened as he realized what he was doing. Was he seriously detailing the dragoness in her sleep ? That wasn't right, that wasn't right at all... The now crimson red dragon laid down his head on his paws, facing away from the dragoness, and tried to get some sleep. This situation couldn't continue like that. For some reason, Aquamarine deliberately avoided to answer when he asked if she was flirting with him in particular. Did that mean she didn't want to admit she was doing so ? He would try to bring the topic back the next day.
It took him a long time to finally calm down and fall asleep, and by the time he managed to do so he came back to his usual grey.

Hyruu woke up as a sun ray hit his face. With a groan the grey dragon put one of his paws on his face, trying to cover his eyes from the sun ray. He was feeling so good he just didn't want to wake up. He had a wonderful dream, even though it already had started to blur away so he didn't exactly remember what it was about. He only could recall it was about him having a mate and them two cuddling in his cave. That part of his dream seemed so realistic he still was feeling like having someone on his side.
It took him a few seconds to realize that it actually wasn't a reminiscing feeling from his dream. The grey dragon opened his eyes to see Aquamarine still sleeping next to him. The parallel between his dream and having her at his side let him highly confused. Hyruu decided to get up and enjoy the sunrise from the edge of his cave. A bit of fresh air would surely help him get his thoughts in place.
As he arrived there, he noticed another dragon flying high in the sky. The dragon descended toward him as the grey dragon appeared.

Apparently, it was about a feast being organized this evening near the palace. This sounded interesting. He would tell Aquamarine once she would get up. As he thought about her, a few pieces of his dream came back to his mind, leaving him again slightly confused. What was wrong with him this morning ?

Aquamarine yawned and woke up about an hour after Hyruu had. She sat up and stretched, fanning out her blue wings. She squinted slightly as harsh dawn sun hit her eyes, shaking her head and turning the other way. "Haruu?" She called out with another yawn. "Goo' mornin'.. If yer here.."

Hyruu was a bit far to hear what Aquamarine just said, but he heard she was waking up. He stood where he was, figuring the dragoness would soon arrive. Even in the hour between the moment he woke up and now he didn't manage to get rid of his confusion. Clearly there was something in the dream he had that was leaving him a strange feeling, he couldn't help but think of Aquamarine in a different way. Was he... was he having a crush on her ? That sounded like the most plausible possibility. But now what was he going to do ? He had absolutely no idea. He still didn't know what Aquamarine was thinking about him.
Well maybe he should try to stop thinking about all that. This evening would be a big event, so he would try to think again about all this tomorrow. Meanwhile he would simply act like he did before with Aquamarine.

Aquamarine frowned. Hyruu was not responding, nor was he in eyesight. Perhaps he was out hunting, or he had gotten in trouble.. for allowing a SeaWing into his den. She shrugged and stretched with a wide yawn, walking over to the edge of the cave. "Haruu? Are ya okaya, darlin'? Where are ye?" She asked, before she suddenly saw him. She rubbed her eyes and yawned again. "Aaa- good mornin'."

Hyruu turned his head as he heard Aquamarine coming toward the entrance of the cave. He was laying at the same place they had eaten the day before, right next to the cliff, with quite a good view on his territory. After all there was nothing better to begin a day than taking a sun bath in a position worthy of a lord. Lord of a really small territory maybe, but it was his territory.
"Hi Aquamarine. Did you sleep well ?" he inquired, smiling as he saw her yawning.

Aquamarine nodded and walked closer to Hyruu, suddenly just standing there and leaning against him. Light shone against the two in the bright dawn. She closed her eyes and stood there for a minute, before taking a step back. "Ah did. Ha abou' yerself?"

Hyruu raised an eyebrow as Aquamarine leant against him, her eyes closed. For a few seconds he wondered whether she was flirting with him like usual or she just fell asleep in this position. Anyway... He wasn't really complaining. Somehow it felt nice to have her at his side and simply enjoy the warmth of the sun, without any unnecessary talk.
"Well yeah. You're sure about yourself though ? For a moment I thought you fell asleep again." he smiled at her.

Aquamarine nodded and giggled at his question. "Ah wa' jus' cuddlin' ya." She said in response, entwining her tail with his. She knew he felt awkward when she did so - though she did it anyway.

Hyruu let out a chuckle at Aquamarine's answer. Like usual he tensed a bit when Aquamarine entwined her tail with his, but suddenly parts of his dream flashed back in his mind. Of course he knew the seawing was just flirting with him, but this position with their tails entwined... The grey dragon almost felt like in his dream with a fictive mate. The parallel was so strong it left him highly confused. He gave the dragoness a look, his confusion showing on his face.

Aquamarine could see Hyruu tense up, though he relaxed. She noticed his facial expression turn to confused, seeing how he was looking at her. She raised an eyeridge. "Are you ohkah darlin'?" Aquamarine asked. He had rarely looked like this, unless, of course, she said or did something odd.

Hyruu blinked again as Aquamarine spoke to him, trying to get rid of that confusing feeling. It was the first time he was ever feeling something like that, and it was kinda worrying him. This dream really had been disturbing to him, as it kept flashing through his mind at Aquamarine's every flirting move.
"Erm yeah, I'm okay." he simply replied, trying to get away from the question.
