NPCs?
NPC dragons!
This idea is really simple. Dragon NPCs. And no, I don't mean those extra characters we throw in our tribal topics sometimes to make up for our lake of characters, I mean more serious characters. Allow me to explain.
Basically, the way this works is that, if you want to make a character, but you don't think they'll really be important enough or used enough to make a totally new account with a new application for them, then you will create an NPC. This is also good for mother dragons trying to decide how many eggs they should lay. This way, you can have an NPC baby rather then worrying about finding a home for them, or just saying that they died *Coughhint* Trinyah *Coughhit*.
NPCs are not official characters, but the NPCs would be put in the allegiance. Just say the NPC's name and they will be put in the allegiance with their appropriate tribe. HOWEVERS, I would like to put a few restrictions on NPCs so people wouldn't just start creating a whole bunch of NPCs to avoid making new accounts or apps.
NPCs can die at any given time. And no, this doesn't mean that one second they're dead, and the next they're alive. This just means that any dragon could challenge them to a fight and kill them. While I would LIKE to say that you have to ask the owner for perms first, that would basically be the same thing as regular characters.
NPCs should ONLY be created for plot purposes, or for hatchlings. Plot purpose NPCs are a lot different from regular NPCs. Plot purpose NPCs are allowed to be OP. But ONLY for the plot. For example, there's a plot where there is an all powerful demon god, surpassing all the other gods in strength. This would be an example of a plot purpose NPC. You ONLY use this NPC for the topics which are involved in his plot. Whereas with regular NPCs, you can use them in anything.
If you have any other restriction ideas involving NPCs, let me know!
So we don't get mixed up, you should take this application and fill in some basic information about your NPC, then paste it on your signature. Do this for each NPC you have/make.
This is all the application will need, and the finished app should look a bit like this:
Name: Joe/ Gender: Male /Age: 13 /Personality: Friendly and lazy/ Appearance: Brown with large wings /Tribe: IceWings / Rank: Leader/ Powers: Super awesomeness
See? Nice and short, so you can keep a handful in your signature. Sure, you could make it longer, but I would stick to something short and simple.
So, what do you guys think? Is this an awesome idea or what?

I like this idea, and personally, approve of it. I'd like to keep my thoughts short and sweet as well. This method of NPCs would make conflicts so much more easier. But yes, I like this idea but honestly, I prefer if other played as hatchlings, but ya'know, that's what I prefer xD.

Re: NPC dragons!
I approve this idea.
Anyway, people were already allowed to create NPC, or secondary characters, more exactly.
Secondary characters have plot purposes or they're simply used to make a story more rich, without necessarily doing a new account.
I would call them secondary characters rather than NPC.

I have one! But she's not for other peeps to RP. >.>
Stay away from Dusk, got it Ya'll?
But I like this idea and-like Atlas said-a secondary character would make more sense. I guess you could consider a pet a secondary one if you wanted. *shrug*
