Hatchlings Only! (Open to All Hatchlings!)

2015-04-08This topic is for all of the hatchlings of Pyyria. Any character under 13 may join. You may use as many hatchlings as you would like. Also, my hatchling alts are: Drahva, Nizza, and Sora. LightWing, Rogue, IceWing.

Dahva awoke in her family's den, yawning and waddling outside. She glanced at her parents quickly toe nsure that her parents were in a dead sleep before she ran off, her wings spread. Though this caused more drag, it was quite fun. She eventually came to an area, just off of the small home territory, where she behan to romp and play in the flowers. These were the rogue lands, connected to many tribes. She attempted to catch a butterfly, failing.numerous times. She rolled around in the grass, she laughed and giggled. Ah, how fun.

The blind EarthWing hatchling stumbled out of the territory, her extremely smelling skills telling her that another hatchling was nearby. The young blind Rylatha halted and stretched ears upward, trying in vain to discover if this would be friend or foe... and if her father, Cosmos, would think he or she was safe.

This doesn't make a lot of sense, please explain.

Dahva looked up from her romping, noticing another hatchling nearby. She raised an eyeridge and then gasped. "Hey!" she called out. This was not intended to be rude, but to have a greeting and get the fellow child to notice her.

Rylatha flinched at the sudden outburst and tensed, but realized that this greeting was friendly. She sprinted to the direction of the voice, running in her blindness, and cried an 'oof!' when she tumbled over an unseen bundle of scales. She rolled over, embarrassed, and stammered, "Sorry..." though she found the sudden tripping fun...

Up in the sky, a small blue and black starry hatchling suddenly appeared. Not appeared, as in came out from behind something, but appeared as in, she simply wasn't there one moment, then was the next. She usually didn't like being visible in the daylight, but she'd seen two hatchlings down below her, and decided that messing with them would be fun. Letting out a small giggle, Neru folded her wings, diving down and landing hard on a tree branch, causing it to shudder. Laying down, she rested her head on her paws and watched the two hatchlings, her eyes thinning to catlike slits. She let out a bored growl, and then lifted her head, taking a deep breath and sending out a shot of her breath attack, which, as always, exploded after a few moments in contact with air, well enough away from the hatchlings to be harmless, but at the same time it was probably a big scare.

Rylatha squealed in fear at the sudden crash near her (she's blind) and she spun around, terrified, as she dashed off. Branches slapped at her face as she ran in nothing but blackness, and she tripped over a root, only to land upon her chin with a bang on the earth.

Dahva stared at the young female and smiled, unknowing of the fact that she could not see her. She stood up and shook herself. "It's fine," She said with a grin. Suddenly, out of no where, she heard an explosion. She gasped and an after her fellow hatchling with a scream. "Humans?" She called out in an exhausted tone.

Neru let out a snort of amusement at their reaction, then went into full out hysterical laughter, rolling backwards and holding her stomach, not stopping even when she fell off the branch, turning and opening her wings instinctively to glide to the ground. Landing, she suddenly stopped, looking curiously after the two hatchings. "How boring," she said, opening her wings once more and gliding lazily after them, giggling when Rylatha fell flat on her face. "Poor thing," she said in a baby voice, not much different from her own. She may have been crazy, but Neru was only four, almost five. "You have balance issues."

A dozing black and red shape was sleeping fitfully nearby. A blood-red eye cracked open a slit when there were noises of laughter filling the air. Someone -or thing- tripped over him, and Helios's ears twitched in annoyance, and a tic mark appeared. Sitting upright, he glanced up at the three other hatchlings playing nearby. "Oi," he snapped. "Some dragons are trying to sleep here, ya know." He stared at them, his face completely devoid of emotion. "Go play somewhere else, or something," he said flatly. "Just go away from here. I was here first."

The hatchling curled his wings around his body and spiraled downward, fog curling around his body as he continued his descent. Flaring open his wings he giggled as his stomach rose from the sudden stop. He loved flying so much. Opening his mouth he yawned quickly before shutting his mouth, his overbite evident to anyone who had eyes. Twitching his tail he felt the plates on his nose move as he sniffed, trying to find someone to play with. Flapping his wings once more he rose up, his four wings beating perfectly in sync. Once he was high enough to see the wyvern like hatchling spotted a lot of other hatchlings and soared over to them, his bright golden eyes sparkling. Diving he looked around curiously. They were all hiding for some reason, shrugging his shoulders he settled down, pressing his wings to the ground to stay steady.

Delphin had followed Dinnozo, his younger sibling to where he was going, making water gush off of his wings, and onto the hatchling below. Slowly, he tilted his wings and began to descend. "Lighten up, Helios!" Delph growled as his force of landing flattened the grass and plants around him.

"I tell you what, kiddies, let's have a game of Tracker Tag, what do you think?" Delph yawned, and reared onto his hind-legs, like a meerkat before taking off lightly and soaring around over the hatchlings.

Dahva hissed as she tripped over a NightWing hatchling. Another hatchling, presumably another of darkness, had alighted down after a fit of laughter. "You guys are jerks." Dahva said with narrowed eyes, sitting down and helping Ryla to her feet.

(Posting as Ares o3oBTW, Sol, I decided to make Ares run off to the SkyWings cause he doesn't feel appreciated.)

Ares had been running around, bored. Why didn'this mother pay attention to him? He tried to play with her, but she just kind of ignored him. Sighing, Ares had ran off. Off to his father's tribe, the SkyWings. He didn't want to deal with his mother anymore. She..... annoyed him. Snarling, he kicked a pebble, only to cause it to fly at his face. Growling, he shot ice at the ground. That was when he heard something. It sounded like other dragons. Curious, he walked towards them.

Neru didn't reply to any of the coming hatchings, merely narrowing her eyes, and disappearing as she blended into her background. Setting a flash of light blue, she took off, looking curiously at Ares as he ran through the trees. A assuming a bored expression, Neru remembered that the LightWing had called her a jerk. "Punishment!" she said in a sing-song voice, turning and diving towards Dahva, shooting another blast of exploding fire at the bottom of the dive before pulling up again.

Delph had soon figured that they had all ignored him. The little EarthWing that was stumbling around was obviously blind, and he looked up at Neru, yellow eyes flaring with anger. "Stop laughing at her, and run along, creep." he snarled, and a few droplets of water burst from under his scales. "You alright, kid?" Delph asked Rylatha, hauling her back up. "Ignore them. Or I'll get my grandmother, Astral on them." he chuckled, and sat down, protecting the Hatchling.

Are so, watching the other dragons, laughed at them, "So, what is this supposed to be? Dragon hatchling gathering day? What are all you punks doing out in the middle of nowhere, crammed together like this?" Ares chuckled, stepping forward. He was only about five feet tall, as opposed to Delphin, who was a trainee while he was a hatchling. Ares was still acting like a complete jerk to everyone he met.
