Rogue Lands & Clans

Erm, Storm? As you pointed out, the unclaimed land belongs to Rogues. So there's no need to give them their own land. And what you described--clans--that's basically a tribe. Rogues aren't a tribe for a reason, they only look after themselves and their mate and/or Hatchling(s)--if they have either. They don't want any part of tribe life or to have to answer to anyone. It's just their nature. But keep coming up with ideas.

If a rogue doesn't want to be alone, don't be a rogue and join a tribe.

But what about dragons who are like Storm? He left the NightWing tribe because he didn't like being in their tribe, but didn't want to be alone, so he is just friends with whoever he wants from any clan.

Actually... this could be a good idea.

Maybe there's one rogue, someone set on trying to fight against the tribes. But he'd need an army to do so. Gathering dragons with promises of destroying them then going back to their normal lives... Plot idea...

Or maybe it can be like what Storm said, and these 'rogue tribes,' if you will, could contain of dragons that would be considered to small to be an actual tribe. Also, tribes tend to consist of dragons of the same type, with a few little crossbreeds here and there. But with rogues they'd most likely be mixed up.

Of course, the only one of my rogues willing to join a 'tribe' would be Kakori XD

Unless there was an actual hidden land for the rogues, it would make sense for there to only be a limited amount of rogue land. If dragons are anything like humans, they strive for power and to be the strongest. One way to do that is land. So, most likely they'd be getting as much land as they could. Of course, this is only a speculation

Then go join another tribe. You should really look up what a rogue is

Like Baldi and Occy have said, Rogues aren't a clan, and that's for a reason. Having a territory would mean maintaining it, organize territories and such, which would basically mean becoming a Tribe by themselves. And that's exactly what Rogues don't want as they chose to live by themselves and not in a Tribe.
Also, remember that the way the new lore is the unclaimed territories in which the Rogues live will be the regions claimed by humans, so while small territories will work a gathering of Rogues would have to conquer their own pieces of territories... and if even the Tribes didn't try that, there's a reason...

I actually like the clan idea, it could work. Maybe small packs of 3-6 dragons, large packs could be made (but only for plots.) and you don't have to have a territory. The group could travel around, only staying in an area for a few days. It could be family groups or just a bunch of friends and allies. However, I don't really think we need special ranks for this. You might be able to set up a tiny group, although you will probably need permission first. I dunno. This could, if not a general thing, at least become an interesting plot device.

I agree on the clan thing. I understand that rogues don't want to be part of tribes stay rogues and all that, but lets see there were a small and of dragons, lets say.. three? Who wanted to be together in a band, but couldn't because they belonged to different tribes. Im just speculating here, because I think it would be a nice touch to the site. Besides (begging your pardon, moderators) I think that it would boost world plots and such. Maybe there could be rebellions, rogues trying to take over tribe lands, etc. Because in my (Personal) opinion I think the site needs a bit more "action." Maybe some phsyco mate of a tribe leader? high ranker wants to get back at her mate for whatever he did and makes a band to take over. Just an example, again begging your pardon, moderators, I understand how hard it is to run a site.

Yeah, definitely. I just realized that Storm and Athena hadn't eaten in like three days LOL. I hadn't thought about it. After they finish confronting Croix, they will have to hunt.

A family deciding to live in the Rogue territories is one thing, a clan is another one. Nomads would have a hard life but it could actually work.

This could also go as what the dragons would call them. A group of rogues, what would the clans call them? Nomads, Rogue Tribes, a mess, Rogues, idk, there could be a lot

But maybe some 'rogue tribes' could get their own name and color if this gets approved XD
Or just say under the picture... Rank or something I think it's called...

I like it, also it gives way to the idea or possibility that dragons can revert to a more primal or animistic way of being. And like everyone said have the crazy mates or dragons taking small pieces of other dragon territory, or a complete civil war from the inside of clans because they don't like something the rest says or does. It could be like the anti- tribe or something.

I support this idea! Rebellions, cannibal groups, secret organisations, alliances to take over tribes, ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS! This could be AMAZING if we added this!
