Personality: Solstice is prone to mood swings and tends to be rather overdramatic. She tries desperately to appear more intelligent or mature than she actually is, and fails badly at this. She is quick to snap if someone offends her, being extremely short-tempered. She will often be nervous towards new things, and rarely believes things others tell her, no matter how true they may be. She is very competitive, though if she loses, it definitely wasn't a competition. But even if she is very sociable and outgoing, there are days where she'd rather remain totally silent without speaking to a single person. Even if another is having one of those days, or are annoyed as well, she will not care. This hatchling is highly demanding and expects others to listen to her. She carries herself with the air that a queen or goddess may. Often appearing arrogant, Solstice can be quite the hypocrite.
Interests:
» Arguing: Despite how bad it may sound, she finds herself enjoying an argument every now and then. Only if she wins, though.
» Travel: Always having a curious mind, Solstice enjoys trips every now and then.
» Family: Solstice has always dreamed of having hatchlings, and the idea of having a mate.
» Collecting things: Herbs, lost objects, and shiny things. She enjoys setting up pretty decorations in her cave, and has something similar to the typical dragon 'hoard'.

General Appearance

Height: 32 feet
Scales: Icy, turquoise blue, diamond-shaped and tightly fitted; a slightly lighter shade on the stomach with thicker scales
Eyes: Green-blue
Appearance: Solstice is an icy blue dragoness with a lean and agile build. She is not muscular, but toned. Her scales are small and fit together tightly, covering a majority of her body. Her underbelly is a few shades lighter than her scales. This is broken in some places - she has blueish-grey feathers covering the entirety of her wings, chest, and two single feathers at the tip of her tail. Her eyes are a bright aquamarine with slight green hints. Her claws are glittering silver and retractable. She has a bright blue aura [the aura has no purpose other than being cosmetic] glowing in the shape of a circle around her body. Within the space of the area is a gentle snow, with no visible source. A silver dragon before a cross on a leather string hangs around her neck.

Strengths:
» Strong-willed & stubborn: Solstice never backs down from a fight, and will do almost anything she can to solve a problem.
» Flight:As she ages, she will become better at flying and aerial combat. Her feathers assist in this.
» Colder temperatures: Being an IceWing, her powers are strengthened in the cold.
Abilities:
» Ice Spikes: As a primary attack, she can spit large ice spikes out of her maw. These are piercing and are essentially, large perfectly shaped icicle death arrows.
» Breath of Khione: The ability to exhale frost/ice, common among IceWings. She can vary it from a gentle frost to a thick ice, though the heavier, the more it tires her out.
» Frozen Bite: When she bites, a small area will be frozen. However, if she were to bite small prey, such as a rabbit, they may freeze over entirely. Some things may shatter if bitten. Both of these are rare chances, and depend mostly on the size of the creature.

Weaknesses:
» Stubborn: Solstice's stubborn attitude can often lead to more injury than necessary.
» Fire: As an IceWing fire weakens her powers and can easily diminish her attacks. Having feathers, she is also very flammable.
Combat Style: She tries to be very agile and quick, and usually tries to start off with warning attacks [such as her ice spikes]. She flies while fighting, and usually tries to avoid close-up contact.
