The Inability to Resist [Private - Tenebris/Despair]
It was a lovely night in the NightWing territory. A cloudless night, and full moon, as always. In these dark swamps, there was nothing but the croaks of toads and the gentle breeze dancing on the leaves of trees, making a charming, rustling noise. The muddy waters and moist air would cover the land, and many would indulge in it. Within those swamps, you may find NightWings, but tonight, Despair would be perched onto a flat stone, on a hill, where the moon shined brightly onto her black scales and red eyes. It was truly a sight to behold, and only the lucky may find themselves gazing at it.
For the most part, the crafty broad spent her nights and days alone and deeply enjoyed that isolation. But there were times when she needed to contemplate certain things about her future. It was head-aching thought, but necessary. She wondered just what her plans were and how she would go about to achieve them. Despair desired power, control, and a both things that lasted for generations. A legacy, if you will.
But that was just another thought. She saw herself as far to new to the tribe to select a suitor just yet. But it was important to at least think about it. "Hmm..." hummed the dragonness, lost in deep thought. She found herself lost in the gaze of the moon, the cloudless night, the eerie but life-filled swamps. They were all so very charming to her.

Re: The Inability to Resist [Private - Tenebris/Despair]
Tenebris walked as the vast invisible ocean of moonlight overhead seemed to fall only just upon him, here and there a slender broken steam seemed to clash against the intersecting branches and trickle to the earth, forming small white pools among the clumps of laurel. These leaks of light however were few and served only to accentuate the blackness of Tenebris’s environment as he continued to make his way through a thick wood in the swamps of the Nightwing realm, he allowed his imagination to free his time as he thought of all the unfamiliar shapes within the darkness, both beautifully uncanny to menacing. The solitude and silence in the heart of the great forest had the portentous conspiracy of the very night itself, those oblivious to the tranquillity of the night couldn’t comprehend how even the most commonplace or familiar objects take on another character.
Tenebris noted to himself how the trees grouped themselves differently, drawing closer to one another as if in fear. Even the silence now seemed to have a different quality than the quiet of the day. The air seemed to be full of half-heard whispers, notes of strange nocturnal birds which made the Swamps their home and the meaker cries of even small animals who Tenebris could only of assumed had fallen into a sudden encounter with a lurking predator, and even still there seemed to be sounds without a name, forms without a substance. Tenebris relished in it all, the mystery and magic of the night was something only few appreciated, yet it was the very thing what made him and his kin Nightwings, his graceful figure finally reaching his destination within a small clearing in the middle of the vast expanse of Swamp and forest as his musings came to an end.
Extending his wingspan, Tenebris found pleasure as the Moon’s full gaze was cast upon him, its silver rays seemingly paying him tribute to his form. The unique reflective speckled effect of silver upon his wing membrane seemed to imitate the stars of the night sky, it would seem that from above even in the darkness he would appear as if a small constellation of the stars beauty was fixated to the ground longing to join its brothers and sisters in the sky. Basking in the moon’s brilliance Tenebris would be brought back to reality as his eyes through his peripheral at the corner of his sight see's a figure perched upon a hill top. Turning his attention to the Red eyes which shone out against the otherwise dark foreboding presence Tenebris strode confidently towards the hill, before bowing his head graciously in an almost humble like fashion. Unaware if the Figure on the hill had even seen him, Tenebris merely awaits in silence, his eeire sapphire gaze ever fixated upon Despair.

Re: The Inability to Resist [Private - Tenebris/Despair]
It was a beautiful time of the day. Unfortunately, other dragons who weren’t associated with this tribe wouldn’t be able to appreciate the night as greatly as a NightWing could. She could call this her favorite hobby, when alone, anyway. The moonlight, the silence, and humid air, it was all so wonderful. Even a broad with a niche and manipulation has her little pleasures. She remembered growing up as a young broad, with her many older siblings and parents. It was at times like these that she could reminiscence her childhood, and how she cherished it. However, the lovely night took a turn when an alien chill went down the broad’s spine. The same chill you got when you felt another’s presence. Eerie, almost. Despair would lay and say nor do anything, her red optics fixed on the full moon above, and it’s innocent whiteness that accompanied it. It’s borrowed glow and holes that only made it feel more alive.
Despair would take one deep breath of the swampy, night air and smile. “You must be quite unpopular with the youth… you frightened me!” Despair’s lovely red eyes would slowly roll as far to the corners as they could, peering behind her to see just who had infiltrated her own little moon-basking. “Lovely night, is it not? It is almost a privilege that we dwell in a land where the night is so fine. But I suppose it can also be a weakness… it lowers your guard in its beauty.” She snickered, coiling her tail around her waist. “Who are you, if I may ask?”

Re: The Inability to Resist [Private - Tenebris/Despair]
Tenebris wore nothing what would denote his status, his ceremonial attire and garb was thrown aside for comfort. Only a single silver loop adored his one of the horns on his crest, in this moment he didn't even wear the usual onyx amulet what hung from almost every Ebonwing to state their status as a member of the upper caste of Nightwing society. Tenebris continued to regard the Dragoness in silence almost admiringly as she spoke yet his austere solemn features never failed not faltered to betray any sense of emotion beyond apathy. "Believe it or not, that is not the first time someone said exactly that to me", he spoke in his ever well cultured yet hoarse tone before breaking into a wolfish smirk across his maw, showing his uncharacteristically white fangs compared to the rest of his dark foreboding features.
Advancing, his movements are ever fluid and graceful, radiating with pride and purpose as he closes the distance between the two. "Remarkable really, few ever truly appreciate the vast beauty which is the Night sky. It is a shame only those born under such a nocturnal blanket ever understand", he trailed his gaze upwards once more as he marvelled at the Night once more. "Forgive my lack of formalities", Tenebris spoke ever elegantly before he returned his attention to the Dragoness "My name is Tenebris, who do I owe the pleasure in turn?". Tenebris made it a point not to add his titles or state his status, she may know of the name but he made no show of appearing the domineering tyrant which others were quick to brand upon him.
