Through the Storm (Open to All)

A storm rolled through the Earthwing territory, not great weather for most, but it was perfect for a thunderbird like Tormaigh. The falcon-like thunderbird flew just below the clouds, letting lightning strike his back as he looked for some foolish prey. The bird soon found stray cow. He soon thought to himself Humans. Never seem to keep watch of their creatures. My reward. Tormaigh then let out a bolt of lightning from him beak, and quickly gripped the now dead animal before finding a relatively dry place to enjoy his meal.

She was lying flat on the massive bird, like hugging him, but at the Same time not. "I'm good" she answered, smiling. She looked down and realized the large forest below her.

Tormaigh nodded at the hatchling as he continued towards the cave. He could already see it, but wasn't sure how good the young one's sight was. As the pair flew closer to the cave, Tormaigh pointed it out with his beak. "Can you see the cave? It's right there."

The young dragons eyes looked with eager as they were nearly there. Her eyes widen a little as soon as she saw the dark cave. Excited, she spreads her wing nearly open as they were getting closer. "i can see it!" she said out.

Tormaigh smiled at the hatchling, and soon landed next to the cave entrance. "Here you are Albino. One cave. Anything else you need young one?"

The small dragon jumped down from the bird into the cave. she then turned to the Thunderbird, her scales glowing white a little due to the dark cave. "oh...nothing else. thanks...again anyway". she smiled with joy.

Tormaigh simply smiled and nodded. "Very well. If you need anything, simply try to call for me." The thunderbird then prepared to take off.

"i will!" she said. as soon as the bird left, she went deeper into the cave, her scales glowing white. she had a very well day today and decide to go to sleep since it was late. she can still hear the rain pouring down, but not in the cave. she soon falled asleep peacefully

Tormaigh was happy to hear Albino's words, and soon made his way to his roost. He soon fell asleep to the sound of the rain.

-Midnight-

she was dreaming about her flying, when it was interrupted by a sound, but it keep on going. she didnt know what was this sound, but it didnt keep her from not falling asleep again.

a few minutes later the sound keep on going, and it was annoying her, so she gotten up and looked out side the cave. Nothing...just Nothing, except some apples on the ground. "seriously?" she said to herself as she was walking down from the cave. her scales were glowing a dim white.

She was there near the apples, her mouth watering a little. I mean...a little snack wont hurt, she thought. she went closer to the apples, grabbing it with her mouth. she took a bite, hearing something. she quickly turned around to see a...human? her eyes widen a little from shock. the human looked scared, so she went closer to the human.

"um...im n-not gonna h-hurt you...!" the human said. Albino just sat in front of the human, curious. all of a sudden, a iron chain wrapped around her snout, causing it to not be open. she turned around to see some dragon hunters, about 10. "this is the one we were looking for boys! help me!" the lead hunter said to the rest of the humans. Albino roared for help, but it wasnt loud enough. she tryed to run away, but more chained went around her legs, causing her to fall. she was about to use her ice shards to stab the humans, but one human knocked her out with a stunning gun. all she could remember was the humans yelling for victory, unless the thunder bird could save her.

Tormaigh sat at his perch. He was asleep, but had trained himself long ago to sleep lightly. You never know when another may decide they want something from your territory, and night was the best time to poach. It was around midnight when he heard the sound of chains rattling, and maybe a roar. The bird's eyes opened as he lifted off, heading towards the noise.

It didn't take long for the thunderbird to realize the direction the noise came from. He swooped down low, seeing the humans at the cave. The thunderbird let out a deep, falcon-like call, and sending an lightning bolt from his beak to one of the humans.

The human staggered as he falled down, while the lead hunter yelled out "Its the Thunder Bird! Retreat! You don't know what it could do to you!". the other men forgotten about Albino as they got on the horses and ran off to the kingdom they belonged to. Albino was tied up on the chains, still knocked out. The lead hunter and looked back before he can catch up with the rest.

As the humans ran, Tormaigh circled back around and landed next to the chained hatchling. He quickly used his beak snap the chains. Once he had removed the chains the thunderbird began to nudge Albino. "Come on, kid. Wake up."

The Bone dragon was near, watching them. He was just trying to gather information for his clan, Nightwing. It was probably best for him to not be that evesdropping that much, he was only a Guardian Trainee after all. After he had heard the Thunder Bird speak, he carefully started to walk away slowly, because his bone body was rattling a little

She woken up, but she was weak because the stun gun that the humans has shot her with. Blinking, she looked up and saw the Thunder Bird, looking at her with worry. she smiled a little, then rest her head back down. "Sorry that i made y-you wake up...." she said to the thunder bird. But then she sensed something, bones....rattling? She slowly gets up and smells the air.

Tormaigh smiled at the response. "It is ok, Albino. I'm just glad that you are ok." He then noticed the way the hatchling began to act. He didn't have a dragon's hearing, but his sight was almost second to none. He looked back at Albino. "What is it, Albino?"

Soon as he heard both speak, he quickly, and mistakely, made his glowing ball in him thanks to fear. While he noticed it, he opened his wings, looked at them, and flew away as fast as he can, still visible

"h-huh?!" she said as she quickly backed away, next to the bird. Her ears were down, a sign of fear. As she saw the..... a bone dragon!? what the heck?! she looked around, then at the thunder bird. "did you s-see that?" she asked him

Tormaigh just looked shocked as he saw the... bone dragon? How in the world was that possible? The thunderbird honestly thought he was seeing things until Albino asked if he saw it. "So I was not just seeing things?"

He then thought for moment. He really wanted to know what that thing was, but he didn't feel comfortable leaving the hatchling alone. "Do you want to see what that was?"

"n-n-no you were! That dragon was...real?" she said to Tormaigh. she was really confused, at the same time scared. But she was not going to let fear take over of her.

She then, carefully, climbed on the Bird. "Y-yes. Of course."

When he was far from them, he stopped and landed on a big branch that would support his weight. He could still see them, but he was not sure on if they could see them.

he saw the white one climb on the bird, a sign of the young dragoness didnt know how to fly. As soon as he saw the bird flying up to him, he turned on his glowing ball and flew to the darkest place he can, and turned off his glowing ball. him nearly invisible, he was hoping that night-vision wont give it away.

Tormaigh waited until Albino was situated to take off and fly towards the strange dragon. Then it began to run off. Tormaigh tried his best to keep up, but, with the white hatchling in tow, he wasn't able to keep the strange creature in sight. The thunderbird followed the glow until it faded, at which point he landed near where he thought the dragon hid.

Tormaigh began to look around, but, despite his great sight, he lacked night vision. He soon looked at Albino. "Can you smell anything?"

Soon as they were in the cave, she gotten off Tormaigh as she was smelling the air, she had heard bones rattling, and she smelled bone. "Yep. Hey...um..whoever you are, were not gonna hurt you. we just wanted to know who you are" she asked the dragon

He stands there, hesitation controlling him. He hoped that they wont attack him. Seconds later in the cave, he powered his glowing bones and looked at them. He backd away a little, in case the massive thunder bird attacked him

The thunderbird could only stare, not quite believing what he saw. It was a dragon. One made of bones? Was he really seeing this? Tormaigh looked at the white hatchling before looking back at the dragon in front of him, and spoke to him in a confused tone. "Well.... Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"im Zeoldrerrirth" he said to the confused thunderbird "oh and, im a bone dragon. A human wizard created me". He then went to the White Hatchling, which was scared. "your lucky that you have scales and flesh young one. i was not only created, but i also was tested for humans. the human wizard was not testing me, the others were. So thats why im here, because he had set me free."

He looked at the thunderbird again, "whats your name?" he asked curious.
