Snow on the Mountain (Open to all)

Snowscale wasn't sure, but he sensed that something was wrong. It was a feeling he sometimes got... a cold dread.
He sighed, which echoed back to him from the cave walls. Shaking his head to clear it, he did the only thing he could at the moment..... he walked to the cave mouth and took off into the sky.
Hmm... he thought. Maybe I ate something that disagreed with me....
He was only kidding himself, as he hadn't eaten in three days.
Well at least I'm the only dragon on this forsaken mountain...
He was pretty sure of that, at least.
Wind playfully ruffled his blue feather-like scales, and soon he spotted a mountain goat below him, oblivious to the small blue Skywing.
Idiotic brute. Oh well, that's where meals are made, he thought, diving down straight for the goat.
At the last instant the goat jumped away, but Snowscale succeeded in tripping it up with his tail.
"GOTCHA!" he roared in triumph, clawing open the beast's throat.
Ahhh, a nice, quiet meal to myself...

Typhoon gave Ronin a questioning gave before turning back to Fireburst. Him and Cyclone were obviously worried about something, but neither would spit it out.

The owl-bear beast seemed to be studying the twins with oddly intelligent black eyes. He chirped, which made Ronin turn around to look at them too. "What is it?" the halfling asked, looking from them to the still immobile Fireburst.

Cyclone just gave the halfling a sad look.

”W... will he be ok?”

Ronin opened his mouth, then closed it. He sighed, and fiddled with the brim of his hat nervously."I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.... He may heal in a few moments, or maybe a few days. Shade says you can never really tell."
Tempest gave Ronin a sad look, thn silently wrapped his wings around his brother. "You're okay. I'm here."

Both twins looked on, with Typhoon seeming to get anxious about something. He looked at his sister, then at Ronin. ”Maybe we should go.”

Ronin looked thoughtful. "Maybe. You shouldn't go alone, though."
The blue stone hanging around the halfling's throat glowed briefly, and then five humans appeared next to him in a puff of blue smoke.

Both twins jumped back and tripped, spooked by all the humans coming out of nowhere. They had a little trouble getting back up as they tried to get back in sync. They then looked at Ronin, before Cyclone looked at the exit.

”You doesn’t have to. We’er never really alone to begin with.”
