Personality: Ethereal is one of the dragons that mainly keeps to herself, even going out of her way to avoid other dragons. She is a wanderer, always exploring and finding new things. While she may steer clear of other dragons, she is fascinated with the other creatures of the world. She loves to hide, watching as other creatures go about their day-to-day chores, and will occasionally show herself to see what will happen. Ethereal is very inquisitive, and often becomes obsessed with puzzles and riddles. She has a rather skittish temperament, and while she will fight if it’s a life or death situation, she would prefer to flee any battles she comes across.
Likes:
- Magic: Ethereal became enamored with magic when she was young. While she would never dream of actually performing it herself, she loves to watch others do it.
- Reading: Ethereal was taught reading by her mother when she was young. Her curiosity with all things began her pursuit of reading, which then turned into one of her several obsessions.
Dislikes:
- Death: While Ethereal understands the necessity of killing for food, she hates that other creatures have to die. She easily becomes attached to creatures, which makes it even more painful when they die.
- Arrogant Beings: Ethereal is disgusted by arrogant creatures, believing them to be the lowest forms of living things, as they are normally so self-absorbed that they fail to notice even the most basic of things outside themselves.
Fears:
- Drowning: Ethereal watched her younger sister Ryoko drown when she was younger. Since then, she never went into water taller than her legs ever since, and even feels nervous just flying over large bodies of water.
- Losing her loved ones: When Ethereal loves someone, she becomes incredibly attached to them. When they cease to be, it hurts her more than it would hurt most.
Strengths:
- Stealth: Ethereal has spent so much of her life hiding that she has become an expert at it.
- Agility: Ethereal has been working on her agility for most of her life, especially in the times that she has been forced to fight.
- Intelligence: Because of her love of puzzles and reading, and simply because of how she was born, Ethereal is very smart. She’s also fairly educated, though she is self-taught.
Weaknesses:
- Reluctance to Kill: Ethereal hates to kill anything, which is a serious disadvantage for her. She often hesitates and lets the victim/opponent escape rather than land a final blow.
- Fur: Because of her fur, Ethereal is very easily injured in battle, as fur is not that protective.

General Appearance
Height: 27 ft
Scales: Ethereal has LightWing color changing abilities, but prefers to appear with scales/fur the color of ice.
Eyes: Dark Blue
Appearance: Ethereal resembles a Lung dragon, with a long, serpentine body, feathered wings, and long fur running down the center of her back. She has two large horns at the top of her head that lay back with her fur, and scales running down her underside. The rest of her is covered in fur. Along with her horns, she has two long catlike ears. As Ethereal is a LightWing, she can manipulate her scales/fur/horns to blend in with her surroundings, however, she prefers to appear in shades of light blue and white.

Special Abilities:
- Stealth: Ethereal can warp the light around her to make herself invisible.
Combat Style: Ethereal has more of a hit-and-run fighting style, quickly darting in and delivering a blow, and then away from the target again.

Background
History: When Ethereal was just an egg, her father Chisltz left to go fight. While he promised to return soon, he never did, although Ethereal’s mother, Dilana, didn’t quickly give up, instead choosing to raise her young hatchling in the cold, snowy forest that Ethereal was born in. Dilana was a scholar, and taught Ethereal how to read, gave her puzzles, and encouraged her spark of curiosity to grow. When Ethereal was 9, her little sister Ryoko was hatched. Ethereal instantly fell in love with her, and took her under her wing as Dilana grew steadily more distant as she began to think that Chisltz might not come back. One day, Dilana decided that it was time to finally leave. She began to fly, taking Ryoko and Ethereal with her. They flew for a day, with Dilana never letting them rest, threatening them when they began to slow, which was quite unlike her. However, as Ryoko was only 3 at the time, she couldn’t make it that far, and began to plummet towards the ocean below. Ethereal struggled and tried to catch her, but was so tired that she couldn’t manage to pick her up. Ryoko dropped into the water, only able to give half-hearted struggles, before she died. Ethereal had just enough energy to make it to the closest island, only a 10 minute flight away, before she too collapsed. Her mother kept on flying, and Ethereal never saw her again. Ethereal lived by herself, watching, waiting, flying, wandering, for the next 8 years, until the present.

Welcome to the forum! So Ill be grading your app for the afternoon. I don't see much wrong, however there are some things Id like to point out, mostly your abilities:

1. The Light Breath: As LiW's can do, they can breath light, yet if you can could you please specify how long you could use it and how powerful it is? Sure its natural for the species, however this gives people an ideal how long/powerful it is so in role-play they aren't guessing how strong it is, what its range is and how long you could make the breath last.

2. If you can specify how many posts/minutes the openent is blind for that would be great.

3. And for the Light Manipulation can you go into more detail upon it? Like how good the manipulation is, does it partially stick out if you move too fast, etc.
