Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake flew further to the south east than he ever had before. It was getting harder for the Rogue to find food at his home, so the wyvern had to start searching elsewhere. To be honest, he wasn't sure exactly where he had gone. He was tired, hungry, and had stopped keeping track many miles back. After a long flight, he finally decided to land. Wake looked up at the sky, clearly seeming annoyed.
"Kelarth! Could use a little luck. I try not to ask for much, or use this feather willy nilly, but.... Dang I need food." He sighed, quickly cleaning the leather of his wings, then sniffing the air, trying to sniff out some food. Wait? Was that a stag? Wake slowly began to follow the scent. Maybe....

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Ugh. . . I really need to learn how to fly. Climbing over all these rocks? No thank you!
These were the SkyWing's thoughts as she clambered over a particularly large rock, her jaws parted for any trace of prey. She had been travelling for a few days, desperate to find food for her Tribe. She was slowly but surely getting used to EarthWing life again, but it was a constant struggle not to get squashed by all the other dragons. Lilith thought that going on a hunting trip would be a good idea. . . She should have learned to fly first.
Wait! I think I smell something. . .
The female immediately dropped into a crouch, following the scent in eagerness. She finally spotted the stag. However, not far away Lilith spotted something greyish-blue. Another dragon! Lilith's fur fluffed out indignantly. Well! I'm not letting you take this food! She tensed her muscles, watching the smoky colored dragon with piercing blue eyes while also keeping a watch on the stag.

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake approached the stag, smiling as he imagined the taste of the meal in front of him, but he then noticed something else. Another dragon. He looked to see an incredibly colorful dragoness, and she seemed just as intent on getting the prey as he was. Wake's horns raised of their resting place against his neck as a natural warning. The food was his.
And with that, Wake ran for the deer at top speed. It may have been the last burst he had in him until he got some food. As he go closer, he leapt to land hit foot claws into the prey.

"No!!"
With a roar, Lilith pelted towards the stag at full speed, but she wasn't quick enough. The wyvern got to the prey first. However, Lilith didn't stop. With a giant leap, she dove towards the larger dragon with her claws outstretched, her wings flared in a graceful arc. If the hit connected, she would tackle the wyvern. If it didn't, Lilith would skid on the pebbles behind him, growling furiously.

Wake smiled and panted as he looked down at his meal. He beat her. It was his. Then he heard something. The wyvern lifted his head to see the dragoness leaping towards him, and it was too late to run. The wyvern soon found himself tackled to the ground and on his back with a thud. His whip-like tail thrashed around as he tried to get his legs under the her. If he managed to, he would try to kick the dragoness off with a reptilian bark. (Jurassic Park raptor barking.)

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Lilith "oof!"ed as she was thrown off, catching onto the ground by digging her claws into the pebbles. She skidded for a moment before going to a complete stop. The SkyWing narrowed her eyes ominously at the rogue and bared her teeth in a snarl. Golden sparks began flying off her pelt, and she flared her wings to make her bigger than she really was. What she didn't notice was that a rogue had stopped and was trying to steal Wake's prey with a claw.

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake growled as he rolled back on his feet and stared down Lilith. He noticed the sparks that began form around her body, and he let out a screech in retaliation. He figured the shock would be pretty nasty, so he had to think of... Who was that? Wake looked at the new Rogue, barking again. ”Hey! Get your claws off that!”

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
At Wake's bark, Lilith perked up her ears and twisted her head to see a dragon trying to steal the stag. She immediately snarled, spinning around to bare her teeth at the rogue. "Back off!" When the dragon only snarled back, smoke whisping through his teeth, Lilith roared and dove at him, claws outstretched with the sparks still dancing along her fiery pelt.

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake growled as well, leaping at the dragon almost as quickly as Lilith did. He went to bite at the angry Rogue's heels, and used his tail like a whip to try and stun the dragon. His abilities weren't quiet fine tuned enough for such a small fight, but he did tap into the feather around his neck to push things a bit in him and his opponent-turned-teammate's favor.

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
The rogue hissed in fury as he felt a pair of jaws close around his heels, but dodged just in time to avoid the whip of the tail. Fire began flickering around his maw, but before he could do anything dangerous Lilith clung to him and released her electric charge into the dragon. The rogue howled out, shuddering at the shock as Lilith leapt from him, hissing. The dragon staggered, clawing towards the stag but Lilith flared out her wings.
"Don't be so dense," the SkyWing snarled, her voice dangerous. "Consider this a lesson to not steal another dragon's prey."

Wake growled towards the dragon, as more wyverns similar to him seemed to come out of nowhere, all growling and snapping. Wake then came closer to the other dragon, though he did give Lilith an odd look when she said not to steal another dragons prey.
"Yeah. Now get!" He then eye Lilith, finally getting a good look at her. "Thanks."

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
The rogue roared one last time before fluttering away, glaring at Lilith and Wake as he left. Lilith relaxed her wings, sighing. At the sound of the wyvern's voice next to her, she perked up her ears and met his grey eyes. The SkyWing merely tucked her wings closer to her and huffed. "Yeah, well. . . It's whatever."
She eyed the rogue, deep in thought. She suddenly didn't feel like fighting him, especially after working together. Besides, Lilith felt like she'd lose the fight anyway. She looked down at the stag and snorted. "Eh. You deserve that." The dragoness gently batted the prey over to Wake. "Wasn't even hungry anyway." This was a lie, but Lilith was more concerned for her Tribe than herself.
With an elegant turn, Lilith began walking away, her tail whisking behind her. Could've gotten that... Should've been faster...

Wake growled as the rogue ran off, letting out another bark before looking back at the stag. He was surprised when Lilith nudged it towards him. He was shocked to say the least, but he soon shook his head and looked at her.
"Oh.... Thanks...." He then watched as she turned away, quite elegantly at that, but he noticed something. She seemed to e a Skywing, but she wasn't flying off. The wyvern's head tilted, trying to figure out why she wasn't flying. He quickly ate a piece of the stag before calling to her.
"Hey. What's a Skywing doing walking off instead of flying off?"

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
His question caused Lilith to freeze mid-step. She bared her teeth in annoyance in an angle the rogue couldn't see. He had struck a soft spot. The female straightened herself up, flaring out her wings and turning to look at the wyvern once again. She took a deep breath and sighed. What was the harm in telling him?
"Well, that's a long story. Would you believe me if I said that I simply don't know how to fly?" The pretty dragon smirked, looking at her wingspan which was four times her size. "Even with this huge wingspan." She rolled her eyes and looked at Wake with an amused look. "Embarrassing, right?"

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake looked a bit surprised when the dragoness said she couldn't fly, and asked him if it was embarrassing. He chuckled slightly, thinking back to the fact that he couldn't use a breath attack. He then thought for a moment, taking another quick bite of the stag before using his snout to push it towards Lilith.
"Well, you're talking to a dragon who can't use a breath." He then tilted his head again. "If ya want, since ya helped me with the other Rogue, maybe I can try to teach ya?" And then Wake realized something. He didn't know her name. The wyvern looked over again, chuckling.
Name's Wake by the way. Yours?"

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
The rogue who she now knew as Wake took Lilith by surprise with his offer. First, she stared at the stag, feathers ruffled and fur puffed up. Brilliant blue eyes were widened, bold against the fiery hues of her body, and they slowly moved to meet Wake's gaze. She didn't know what to think of him. Her past experiences told her to trust no one. . . But she was hungry. . . And she did really want to fly. . .
Coming to a conclusion, the dragoness lowered her wings with a snort of dismissal. "Wake, huh? Do you have a batchmate named Sleep?" A rumble of laughter emerged from her maw as she chuckled at her own joke. Then she approached, head lowered in a show of peace. "I'm Lilith. You're the only one who's offered to teach me." Now at the stag, she lowered her snout to take a small, tentative bite, but her eyes never left the wyvern. She was taking a risk by trusting him, but she wasn't going to let her whole guard down just yet.

Re: Skycrossed Meeting (Lilith)
Wake gave an annoyed look for a second, at least until the dragoness laughed. He would soon laugh some too. Not the same kind of rumbling laugh, but a laugh none the less. And he finally had a name to the ness, Lilith, and learned that she hadn't had anyone to teach her to fly. His horns would flair a tad, like a hood, in surprise.
"So... no one ever.... Alright. And no, I don't have a batchmate named Sleep. There was a Ripple though."\"[/color][/b] He gave a slight smirk before quickly moving more to the front before looking back, his wings spread a bit already.
"Ok so we'll start with this. Spread your wings out as far as you can, like this." The wyvern would then spread his wings, the scythe claws on his wings being a bit more apparent now than before. He'd curiously wait to see what Lilith though about this, hoping she'd follow his lead.
