Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
While using poison;

While not using poison;
Type of Character: (Dragon)
Personal Info
Name: Chogath
Alias: The Alchemist of Ink
Age: 289 years old
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality: Chogath is cunning, cold, calculating and feels emotion no longer. Ever since his accident, he has withdrawn from much of the world, turning some to his side and eliminating those who stand in his way. With his sights now set on power, and his alchemical substance usually on hand, he is plotting to create a new concoction of the "ink" that may pull low-classed monster under his sway, then work from there.
Chogath also cares little for other's struggles. In his minions, he expects results. From strangers he expects nothing and will not offer nor give aid to those who ask him for it. He is merciless in his dealing, his punishments to his two minions often painful.
Fears: Chogath's biggest fear is that of his demise. He also fears that those meddling in his various schemes may destroy them, and so works to eliminate such interruptions.
Strengths: Lying, wordplay, creating alchemical substances, corruption
Weaknesses:Strangely, salt water has an adverse affect on Chogath. Lightwings also seem to be immune to his substance and venom. He is also narcissistic and arrogant, underestimating opponents (you know, standard villain fare). In addition, light based magics harm him more than normal, and can stun him for a while if a big enough light attack hits him (e.g. a Lightwing's breath attack).
General Appearance
Height: 80 feet tall
Scales: A glossy blackish that glints while his Ink Secretion ability is active.
Eyes: Beady black, oozes with his inky venom while powers are in use.
Appearance: Chogath wears a satchel filled with his various creations. It is usually stocked with the following; three ink vials, five healing potions, and two vials filled with acid that only works on organic targets. A second bag holds a dagger and several notebooks detailing notes on various experiments, written in the ink he can excrete. In addition he has "battle talons" over all of his feet, which store a neurotoxin powerful enough to kill a dragon, though that process takes an entire day to run its complete course and five hours to start manifesting. Standard antivenom can cure this, and each claw has two doses in it, and Chogath carries about eight extra doses with him (two per claw). Rearming a claw with venom takes 2 minutes.
Tribe Information and Status
Tribe: Chogath is a rogue
Inheritance: 88% Earthwing, 12% Seawing
Rank:
Family: Since his transformation, Chogath remebers no family.
Mate: None
Hatchlings: None
Skills and Abilities
Normal Abilities: Chogath's breath attack is that of basically an acidic ink (that carries no powers from it), which melts living things a lot easier than inorganic matter. Metals are an exception so long as they are not acid resistant, and wooden objects count as organic. This breath attack can only be used twice a day.
In addition, Chogath's bite is venomous. This venom functions like that of a cobras, attacking systems one by one. It acts relatively quickly, but does not affect any extremely vital organs. This is mostly for disabling threats, as the process takes about three minutes. He can swim decently enough, even if he can only reach speeds of 20 mph.
Special Abilities:
His last ability is that of excreting a very dangerous poison from his skin, or sometimes just plain ink. The ink is ususally only excreted around the claws and is only mildy toxic to very small creatures (e.g. deer or something) and is easily produced from glands in his feet. The poison can only be used once per day and is excreted from his entire body, even his eyes. It is extremely quick in acting, taking seconds to start inducing hallucinations. This may distort ones vision, but still makes it fully possible to fight, though it may be extremely disorientating.
As for the "ink" itself, it has been designed to bring things under Chogath's sway. If someone takes this willingly, it will often warp them completely while ensuring their loyalty (for the most part) to Chogath. This process usually takes a minute and a half, except for those who resist, in which case it takes three minutes to run its course. ((Note: player characters can only be completely affected if I have their expressed permission. As for resistance, I will not try to affect a PC to the point it is too corrupted.)) Often during this process victims will feel physical and mental pain as their bodies and minds are corrupted. If only applied to the skin it can be resisted to a greater extent, although there may be blemishes depending on the amount of the dosage. Each consecutive use is more effective, for the first three. After three, if the person has still resisted, they are then immune to further doses. It is also much more effective if injected directly into the bloodstream. Already fully corrupted dragons (like Chogath and his two minions) are immune to the substance, as are Lightwings, and Earthwings are extremely resistant to it. Unless it is willing, a purebred Earthwing can never be fully corrupted. Chogath may not possess an antidote, but he believes that some healing spells may be able to reverse it.
For those who resist the ink, they are only impressionable by him for the duration of that certain encounter with him. Suggestions involving harm to self, family, or liked persons will break Chogath's hold.
Combat Style: Chogath's first priority is to try and envenom his target in some form or fashion, which is relatively easy considering both his battle talons and bite are equipped with venom. From there he will usually let his minions deal with it, so as to avoid personal injury.
Background
History: Chogath recalls none of his childhood and very little of his family, not that he cares. He prefers the freedom of being able to wander Pyrria and search for ingredients he needs without being tied down by family, and so wanders the world hunting monsters and other such creatures to use in alchemical experiments. He has created many dangerous brews, to volatile mixes that can detonate with sufficient impact to healing salves capable of sealing grievous wounds. His "labratory" is located in the borderlands between the Earthwing and Seawing territories, nestled deep in the mountains.
Along his way he has picked up two lackeys, both corrupted by the same substance that corrupted him. Their names are Zix and Kog, their prior names lost.
Kog

A corrupted Earthwing, Kog is very strong physically, and is the muscle of the two. Having been enhanced by Zi'x strange metallurigcal abilities (not shown in picture) he is even more dangerous, with an armored head, extremely durable Earthwing hide, and serrated claws and tail tip. He carries a khopesh that he can coat in venom for a brief time, venom that drips from his jaws and can kill a dragon over the course of a week. This ability can be used once per day. His corruption has also tainted his breath attack; instead of acid he spits bolts of black lightning. Kog is 92 feet tall.
Zix

Zix is a corrupted Firewing hybrid who controls abilities over metals. While the picture may not detail it (as this is how he would look basely without having been wearing armor during transformation), much of the armor he was wearing upon transformation is now fused into his skin. His chest, head, neck and tail are all protected by it, though his midsection is vulnerable. He mainly uses his metal manipulation to create new vessels for which Chogath can spread his poisons. His breath attack is still like flames, but the burns last much longer than normal and prove difficult to heal both normally and magically. Infection can easily set into these wounds without treatment.

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
For your normal ability, given that he is only 12% SeaWing, while he might be able to at least swim better than a pure EW, it is unlikely he could reach a swim speed of 40mph.
I don't know if you were aware, but new characters can only start with one special ability. You'll have to choose one of the ones you have listed to keep and remove the other two. However, since it is an EarthWing specific ability and you mostly EarthWing, the venomous bite would be a normal ability.

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
What effects do this ink have on someone who is resisting but hasn't yet received a fourth dosage to make them immune to full corruption? If it is more effective when introduced directly into the bloodstream, how many doses does it take to fully corrupt someone?

It varies from subject to subject. For Earthwings, it basically becomes normal effectiveness if put into their bloodstream. For normal dragons it just becomes harder to resist.

I mean post-wise. How many posts would it take for EarthWing hybrids and other species?

The beginning of the process is immediate, but I suppose the whole process would take about a minute and a half.

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
So you would immediately begin to feel whatever, then it would take a minute and a half to become fully corrupted, unless you are an EarthWing or are trying to resist it, in which case the process would take how long?

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
That means it would take 45 secs to fully corrupt an EarthWing hybrid or someone trying to resist. I think you meant to say twice that time?
Also, what are these effects that someone would experience when they come into contact with this ink?

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
Yeah, I meant twice, sorry bout that.
As for the initial symptoms one will experience, it's mostly just some pain. The more one resists, the more pain there is, though it is mostly mental and the pain doesnt lessen resistance (to keep it balanced). This is due to the obvious changes it wroughts physically and mentally, as often the ink taints both the mind and the body.

Re: Chogath, the Alchemist of Ink
Okay, so immediately after coming into contact with the ink, one experiences pain, which continues until they are fully corrupted, which will take 00:1:30 if they aren't resisting or non-EarthWing. If resisting or an EarthWing hybrid, the process takes 00:3:30. Right?
