Double Trouble (Open to All, Located in Twilight Imperium)

A small rabbit hoped along calmly, munching on some grass every now and again. Seemingly unknown to it however, someone was following it. Well, two someones. Cyclone and Typhoon both smiled, licking their lips. Admittedly, they'd probably argue over who would get to eat it, but they needed to learn to hunt, and with their mom, Sting, being busy, they decided to try and figure it out by themselves. The two hatchlings' tail wagged a bit before they pounced for it, ready to catch the rabbit in their claws.

The pair growled, looking in their paws to find.... Nothing? The twins heads darted up and around until they saw the rabbit getting the heck out of there.

"Darn it! We'll never get this down!"

"How'd it even get away? I thought we had it."

"Gah! Mom makes it look easy."

Tharasis was walking through the forest. Since he had met Sting and her children, though he was at first a little hesitant with them. Having no prior knowledge of taking or handling kids, he had come to like the two dragons. Yes they were fused together in one body, but they were still two different dragons.

When he heard Sting would leave for something important, he took the opportunity to watch over her kids during her time away. He was both exited and nervous since this would most likely be their first time being together without the presence of Sting.

But Tharasis had nothing to fear, he knew they were kind dragons. And he knew he would be able to bond with them. He just had to be patient and let them get to know him better. And once they trusted him all would be well for the drake.

Now here he was. In the forest accompanying the two as they went hunting. And the moment he turned his head around they were gone. Much to his utter shock and disbelief at how easily they could disappear. He quickly set up running and dashing through the forested area, The twigs and branches snapped under his weight as he was more worried about the two then making noise.

Eventually he did find them, to his relief they were perfectly fine. He was about to call out for them when he noticed they were preparing to catch a rabbit. And so, he decided to just sit down on his hunches and wait for them. From where he sat he could clearly see them.

He was cheering in his mind as he saw them get ever so closer to their prey, and when he saw them pounce it was already to late. From what he could explain they most likely took to long and the rabbit eventually either saw them of caught their scent. Resulting in the failed catch when the twins pounced.

He let out a soft chuckle seeing them, they reminded him of his own young self. But his situation was far different from theirs, while they had a loving mother to take care of them. He was all alone by himself, and as a result he had to learn everything he could. He didn't have anyone to teach him, so he had to learn through trial and error. And a lot of times this would end in him hurting himself in the process.

But it was through these hardships did he grow into the dragon he was today. But he had to admit, Typhoons and Cyclones childhood were far better than his.

The pair sat there for a second, their body seeming to twitch and move a bit strangely before Cyclone turned to see Tharasis.

"Oh. Hey Tharasis."

"Hey."

Noctis finds a rabbit running and quickly catches it with his shadow manipulation. He hears some commotion nearby, he uses his poison gas to put the rabbit to sleep and proceeds to bring the rabbit along.

(Just a reminder, the twins are only... I believe 11 in this rp, just for an idea of time.)

The young hatchlings soon heard something else, and the pair turned to follow it, notably with a word to Tharasis. They looked around before spotting another hatchling around their age, and with a rabbit! They looked surprised, only letting their heads peek out from a bush as they watched.

"Hi there, I guess this was supposed to be your catch. You may have it, it is a little small to satisfy my appetite." Noctis lays the sleeping rabbit at the twin's paws and turn to walk away. "Be sure to either slay or eat the rabbit before it wakes up from the sleeping gas."

Tharasis followed them through the bush, and was surprised to see another dragon around their age.

Tharasis looked at him as he gave them the knocked out rabbit. and would thank him.

" Thank you for helping us. " He said as he watched him walk away. And he thought for a moment as to why a hatchling was out here by himself, maybe his parents are not to far.

Either way, he turned his gaze over towards the two dragons.

" Well now, you two may eat it. But after this your going back out there to get another one, and hopefully the catch would be yours. " he said to them.

The double headed pair were both surprised when their fellow hatchling gave them the rabbit, they still mostly hid in the bush while Cyclone picked up the rabbit, taking a hard bite as Noctis turned. Typhoon then spoke up.

"Thank you!" They then looked up at Tharasis, but sighed a little with how he said what he did.

"Ok."

"We will."

Noctis returns to hiding in a shadow which he vanishes from sight. He waits for bigger prey to come.

Tharasis gave the twins a nod, and as they walked back into the forest. Tharasis would decide he would try and help them out. Particularly in finding their prey.

It took a while, but eventually with enough patients and some luck. Tharasis and his two children would come upon a large burrow.

They hid close to a bush, well. More so Tharasis given his large size... Hid much deeper into the foliage and trees, with only his head close to the twins as to not blow their cover.

" You see that burrow? " he asked, and when the twins would look they would see a small group of rabbits.

" See if you can catch atleast one of them. Wait for the perfect moment to pounce. "

Noctis showing great patience waits until a deer makes it's way right into his striking range. He uses his shadow manipulation to stop the deer in it's tracks. He then roars and pounces it while it cannot move. He slays the deer and drags it up into a large tree. Without realizing it, Noctis is in plain view for miles to come.

The twins would follow Tharasis, snacking on the rabbit that they had. Then the larger dragon pointed out a burrow. They tilted their heads, but got ready to pounce.

Noctis starts munching on the deer and catches a glimpse of the 2 headed dragon getting ready to pounce.

" Get ready you two, once one of them. Or hopefully all of them turn their heads away, that is when you pounce. " He said to them, and though it took a minute of both silence and waiting. Eventually an opportunity made itself apparent when 2 rabbits got out of their burrow and looked at the opposite side from the 3.

Tharasis would watch with great eagerness to see how well Cyclone and Typhoon could make their dash and hopefully snag at least one of them.

Noctis continues watching after eating his fill. He hopes they do well and catch their prey.
