A Salty Encounter(Open)

Travelling along the coast had left the aging seawing tired, not by distance travelled as he had been used to it, but by the constant skirmishes with random monsters. Though it did bring some joy to learn he wasn't the last seawing and some icewings still survived. As he made his way up onto the beach near a rocky outcropping settled down before curling up with a grunt against a warm boulder to sun himself. Stretching a bit before yawning deeply brought a webbed paw up to his snout, blowing slowly to form a bubble and watch it float away before popping.

"Now I know I'm getting old. Can't even handle a small trek from the north without getting aches. Blasted cold snow." Blowing another bubble he sighed and looked over the calm ocean. "Maybe I'll meet more seawing survivors, who knows?"

Poem heard their thank's and gratitude, he wasn't used to this. he nodded his head, and walked slowly carrying a fish with him to the shores of the beach. It was a quiet day, not a cloud in the sky. With calm waves crashing against him he slowly ate his fish. He always wondered where he was from, but now knowing that they could all be dead. He stopped himself. He couldn't let himself think this way. Some of them had to be alive. He finished the last good pieces of the fish and threw the rest into the ocean for the sharks. He walked back up to the mouth of the cave and mustered the bravery to ask. "Are there places we still live? like a place we gather?" He hoped that even if he couldn't find his family. That he could find his kind. And that would be enough.

Minnow looked over at Aquantei and nodded.

"I never get to eat this kind of fish. I always have hunt deep or at night where my glowing attracts them." She chuckled a little before seeing Poem leave the cave. Minnow gave a sort of sad look, not sure what to say. Had something happened to him? She lifted up, moving closing to the mouth of the cave before looking at the older Seawing, then being surprised by Poem returning. Then his question hit.

"I.... I don't know.... I've heard of somehiding with Icewings but... I just don't know."

"This would make you two the second and third seawing I've met in a long while." Solemn and yet hearing the question thought back to that one icewing. "Something of a gathering did occur, but that's long since passed up in the old icewing territory which I just left. One of the icewings gave an interesting proposal to those who attended which was to bring the Gifted Crystals back as a tribe once more and they would lead it back into glory." Kinship, protection, a home...who wouldn't that after all that's happened?

"wait, IceWing's?" Poem has only ever seen night, fire, and earth dragon's before, along with his own kind. His mind opened to the possibilities of what other kinds of dragons there could be. "There are IceWing's?!" He was quite shocked, he must have knows about them at some point... before he lost his memory. "Are we friends with them? the IceWings.... and will other SeaWings still be there?" he calmed himself down after hearing of such news. Continuing to chew on his fish, while he awaited for a response.

Minnow looked worried looking at Poem before finally speaking up.

"I... I don't know.... I've only heard a few things before being alone for a long time." She looked back down, slowing moving to finish her fish.
